Davis and shirtliff CSR
On behalf of KE0759 fraternity, i blissfully let you know that water pumping using solar energy installation that Davis & Shirtliff company was freely installing for us via their CSR is now complete and functional! We are pumping water for our church and FCP use using solar energy which is cost free and environmental friendly. We used to spent over 100,000/= shillings annually in purchase of fuel for water pumping for the church and FCP usage.
We are ‘going green’. We are earnestly working to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in this context especially these respective SDGs 1,2,3,4,6,7 & 13; No poverty, Zero hunger, Good health, Education, Clean water, Clean energy and Climate action.
Now new initiatives are coming up as a result of having enough water in our FCP e.g. intensive agribusiness such as horticultural farming, greenhouse farming, fish rearing, swimming classes for our registered and non-registered pupils in our private church based primary school, packaging bottled water for selling, making an attractive garden that we can host weddings and conferences at a cost etc.
