CLASS EIGHT FAREWELL CUM PRAYER DAY AT A.I.C KANZINWA ACADEMY.
Prayer lays hold of God’s plan and becomes the link between His will and its accomplishment on earth. Amazing things happen, and we are given the privilege of being the channels of the Holy Spirit’s prayer. God warms His hands at man’s heart when he prays. Nothing tends more to cement the hearts of Christians than praying together. Never do they love one another so well as when they witness the outpouring of each other’s hearts in prayer. In worship, God imparts himself to us. “To get nations back on their feet, we must first get down on our knees.” Billy Graham. Prayer at its highest is a two-way conversation and for me the most important part is listening to God’s replies. Prayer is not only asking, but an attitude of mind which produces the atmosphere in which asking is perfectly natural.
He who opens a school door, closes a prison. “Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.” John Dewey. Education is a better safeguard of liberty than a standing army. The goal of education is the advancement of knowledge and the dissemination of truth. Change is the end result of all true learning. “Despise school and remain a fool.” German proverb. If you are planning for a year, sow rice; if you are planning for a decade, plant trees; if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people. The foundation of every state is the education of its youth. “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character, that is the goal of true education.” Martin Luther King. The ability to read, write, and analyze; the confidence to stand up and demand justice and equality; the qualifications and connections to get your foot in the door and take your seat at the table, all of that starts with education. An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.
We commenced the Month of March 2022 in style at our Mother Church; A.I.C Kanzinwa that is on 1st of this month by holding both farewell party cum prayer day for the 22 grade 8 candidates at A.I.C Kanzinwa Academy since they will be sitting for their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination as from 7th of March 2022. The vision and flag bearers of this fast growing private church-based non-profit making primary school commenced it in January 2015 with one core business of improving the cognitive development among other areas of development of both supported and non-supported primary school going children in this vicinity. I have all reasons and pleasure to let you know that we are on the right track since 99 per cent of grade 8 candidates joins high respective high schools in our republic every year and there is a remarkable record of performance realized so far. We have been offering quality education to both registered and non-registered children in this area, thus working on the king post objective of having this life-transforming project at such an arid area like Kanzinwa! We are strategically working on acquiring a junior secondary school here as well as the Ministry of education science and technology ushers in the Competency Based Curriculum(CBC).
