Trees exhale for us so that we can inhale them to stay alive. Can we ever forget that? Let us love trees with every breath we take until we perish. “Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant trees.” Martin Luther. The care of the Earth is our most ancient and most worthy, and after all, our most pleasing responsibility. When trees burn, they leave the smell of heartbreak in the air. Trees are poems that the earth writes upon the sky. I feel a great regard for trees; they represent age and beauty and the miracles of life and growth. Love is like a tree, it grows of its own accord, it puts down deep roots into our whole being. “A nation that destroys its soils destroys itself. Forests are the lungs of our land, purifying the air and giving fresh strength to our people.” Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Today on 8th of September 2020, an organised group of 15 caregivers voluntarily, passionately and zealously came and helped in cleaning the church/FCP compound and attending to trees within the compound. They prunned flowers, watered tree seedlings and sprayed mango trees flowers to keep on flourishing in order to get bumper harvest of sweet & juicy mango fruits in due time. We have similar 20 groups and they have been doing a commendable job here! From the deepest of my heart, I salute all our FCP caregivers and Glorify God for them.
