A.I.C KANZINWA PUPILS’ SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY

Instruction is good for a child; but example is worth more. If you want more kindness in the world, put some there. As you become more present in your own life, you will begin to enlighten others by your example. A true leader always leads by example, by demonstrating to others how the work is done. Lead by example, not by showing samples. Being an example to others is a requirement of following Jesus, even though none of us will ever be a perfect example. Serving is the best kind of leading.

See the world with the innocence of children.
Approach the world with the daring of children.
Love the world with the readiness of children.
Heal the world with the purity of children.
Change the world with the wisdom of children.
Children are the hands by which we take hold of heaven.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has. We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile. Caring has the gift of making the ordinary special. Love cannot remain by itself — it has no meaning. Love has to be put into action and that action is service. Everyone can be great, because everyone can serve. This country will not be a good place for any of us to live in unless we make it a good place for all of us to live in. I have found that among its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver.

A.I.C Kanzinwa Academy pupils led by their able, focused and determined teachers took a bold gusto step to clean Kanzinwa, Karie and Kathamba shopping centres that are within their vicinity on 11th of May 2022 in the afternoon. These pupils zealously executed thorough cleaning that left community members with their mouths wide open and with disbelief! This translates to many versions of conclusion such as they feel positively challenged by those little ones, may be they have bought this idea, its possible to promote personal hygiene and sanitation in their homesteads and community at large etc. You must be the change you wish to see in the world. This is the real Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) implementation, I mean practical and not theoretical learning methodology.

Sanitation is more important than Independence. Although we take it for granted, sanitation is a physical measure that has probably done more to increase human life span than any kind of drug or surgery. You will never solve poverty without solving water and sanitation. ”Sanitation issues in the developing world affect women more than they affect men.” Melinda Gates. More than 1 billion people around the world have no access to safe, clean drinking water, and over 2.5 billion do not have adequate sanitation service. Over 2 million people die each year because of unsafe water – and most of them are children! We have to tackle the triple malady which holds our villages fast in its grip; want of corporate sanitation, deficient diet and inertia. The reality is that a child dies every eight seconds from drinking contaminated water, and the sanitation trend is getting sharply worse, mostly because of the worldwide drift of the rural peasantry to urban slums.
