Rediscover the real meaning of the Great Commission. Beginning in our own prayer and devotional lives, we must begin to feel the compassion of the Lord for a lost and dying world. As we have already seen, the Great Commission is not something that was given to a tiny group of specially trained and educated envoys. It was given to all Christians—to the whole Church. It is something that we are all to be engaged in naturally every day. Matthew 28:19–20 — New Living Translation (NLT)
19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
The end of March and beginning of April 2023 has been such fruitful months for our FCP. Indeed the Lord has shielded us with his bountiful love. God’s Word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus and not by our own efforts or works (Ephesians 2:8-9). Grace Alone. Faith Alone. Grace alone means that God loves, forgives, and saves us not because of who we are or what we do, but because of the work of Christ.
We had a successful four days crusade from March 30th, 31st, 1st April 2023 and climaxed on 2nd April 2023. With the help of our Patron, Child Development Workers , iserve Africa apprentices and our teachers, Our program participants were greatly involved in the activities crusade activities, They actively participated in ;sharing the word of God, Dancing ,Singing in choir, prayers and also offered a word of encouragement to the members of the Kanzinwa community. The crusade was attended by project caregivers and other invited church members from different denominations. The total number of congregants who got an opportunity to listen to the world of God was more than 200 people.
The crusade offered an opportunity for the growth of our supported program participants to get knowledge on how to share the world of God and a chance for them to be rooted and shaped by the Gospel. The children also got an opportunity to enjoy the snacks i.e juice and bread.
We are grateful to God for members of the community who closely listened to the Gospel and trusting the Lord for impact in their life’s.
