INTERDENOMINATIONAL CLERGY SERVANTS INTESIVE TRAINING AT KE0759

The test of a preacher is that his congregation goes away saying, not What a lovely sermon, but, I will do something! There are three stages in the work of God: Impossible; Difficult; Done. Harmony is produced in ministry when everyone seeks to be a servant. “My job as a Christian is not to get people to heaven when they die; it’s to get heaven to people while they’re alive” D.R. Silva. All ministries must be God-centered, but it must also be man-purposed. “Let every man abide in the calling wherein he is called and his work will be as sacred as the work of the ministry. It is not what a man does that determines whether his work is sacred or secular; it is why he does it.” A.W. Tozer. Excellent ministers cannot be those who yearn for earthly applause. Neither can they be lovers of earthly comfort. The life of ministry is not a life of leisure. The notion that ministry can be both effective and painless is a lie. The true character of ministry is a servant’s heart. “The goal of the pastor is not to get people to show up but to get people to grow up.” John Maxwell. Make sure of your commitment to Jesus Christ, and seek to follow Him every day. Don’t be swayed by the false values and goals of this world, but put Christ and His will first in everything you do.

On 15th-17th of June 2021, we had clergy servants and two church elders from all respective churches from 5 kilometres radius from our mother church; AIC Kanzinwa Church. These are the churches from which our supported beneficiaries attend either Sunday service or main church service. This ideal 3 days’ intensive training was facilitated by iServe Africa missionaries. It was made to guide & equip all churches leaders with the right Gospel delivery and general church management. After we analyzed and priotised our area of operations needs in Qavah methodology in 2014, we came up with a list of needs in hierarchical order; spiritual development, eradication of poverty and hunger and food security availability and livelihood. This is the road map of successful program implementation, positive Kanzinwa Community transformation and denominational differences among different churches around is a thing of the past and unity reigns.
We must be global Christians with a global vision because our God is a global God. Great effort springs naturally from a great attitude. God has given us two hands, one to receive with and the other to give with.
