“You shall also have a place outside the camp and go out there, and you shall have a spade among your tools, and it shall be when you sit down outside, you shall dig with it and shall turn to cover up your excrement. Deuteronomy 23:12-14. Cleanliness is a state of purity, clarity, and precision. The objective of cleaning is not just to clean, but to feel happiness living within that environment. Being green and clean is not just an aspiration but an action. Cleaning and organizing is a practice not a project. Cleanliness is a mindset – a positive habit that keeps the body, mind, and environment happy, healthy, simple, neat, and delightful. The photo below candidly shows a group of caregivers that we issued mattocks and spades for preparing trenches in their gardens to curb rill and sheet soil erosion during heavy down pour since rains are expected to fall as from next month and also to help them in executing integrated Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) with Qavah and GOBI-FFF. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.
